I am unable to create user 'info_domain' as suggested by you in Module 7.

Instead I am able to create user 'c##info_domain'.

Not sure why is this happening. [PFA screenshots of SQL plus commands]

Also If I do proceed ahead with user 'c##info_domain', I am stuck at Step 5b of Informatica server installation.

Test Connection is Failing. [PFA screenshots of Informatica installation window].

The service name and the database address  is different for every version of Oracle. as you using oracle 18c so to check the service name and port number, follw these steps:

Go to cmd

Search for lsnrctl services

You will get the details

Hey Nishant,

Through the screenshots, I came to know that you are just going with incorrect service name.

Follow this information to successfully complete the 5th step

Database type: Oracle
Database user id: c##info_domain
password:(as u have used in oracle)

database address: localhost:50553
databse servicename:820ec830fc734caba23d5d0293e22c55

IF THIS FAILS, GO WITH THE NEXT:

Database type: Oracle
Database user id: c##info_domain
password:(as u have used in oracle)

database address: localhost:50553
databse servicename:CLRExtproc

IF THIS FAILS, GO WITH THE NEXT:

Database type: Oracle
Database user id: c##info_domain
password:(as u have used in oracle)

database address: localhost:50553
databse servicename:XEXDB

As you told your internet is not working well, Can you help via phone call.

Atleast I would verify all things via phone if that could be the solution left.

Problem is since I am stuck at Informatica installation [step 5b], so I am unable to proceed with your further videos.

Thanks,

Nishant Shukla
